Whenever we experience hard times, St. Paul encourages us to live lives of “joyful anticipation” for what God has in store for us.  Come enjoy song, Scripture, thoughtful reflection, and our loving community where YOU belong!  Pastor Corry will preach.

Come and invite your friends! It might just change your life and theirs.

This week’s music includes:
Open The Eyes
Nothing Can Separate Us
Returning
You Are Near
Love The Lord
This week’s readings:

Psalm 86:11-17

Romans 8:12-25

Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43

Sunday’s Prayer:
Almighty God, the fountain of all wisdom, you know our necessities before we ask and our ignorance in asking: Have compassion on our weakness, and mercifully give us those things which for our unworthiness we dare not, and for our blindness we cannot ask; through the worthiness of your Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
COTS members are invited to join Olivet’s Summer Blessings program to provide food to needy children during the summer break.  The following items are needed:  cereal, soup, mac & cheese, beans (dried or canned), rice, and pasta sauce.
And ongoing:  Don’t forget!  Bring food items and cleaning supplies to church for our community partner, Koinonia.  Let’s follow Jesus by helping others in need!
After worship at 11:30, the Wired Word will meet to discuss this week’s article.  Venue:  the conference room on the third floor of the 1957 building, across from the COTS office.
