Sunday at 10 am:  Advent means preparing for Jesus’ coming.  Jesus says, “Then they will see ‘the Son of Man coming in clouds’ with great power and glory…Beware, keep alert; for you do not know when the time will come.”  How do we prepare for Jesus’ return in our lives now?  Join us as we joyfully sing and pray together in praise of Jesus Christ.  Pastor Corry Weierbach will reflect on the first reading and Chaplain Robert Jones, USN, will preach.
Come and invite a friend!  It just may change their life…and yours.

This week’s readings:

Psalm 80: 1-7, 16-18

1 Corinthians1:3-9

Mark 13:24-37

This week’s music:

Our Father
Your Love Is Extravagant
We Come Expecting Jesus
Even So Come
Sunday’s Prayer:

Almighty God, give us grace to cast away the works of darkness, and put on the armor of light, now in the time of this mortal life in which your Son Jesus Christ came to visit us in great humility; that in the last day, when he shall come again in his glorious majesty to judge both the living and the dead, we may rise to the life immortal; through him who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.  Amen.
