The Rev. Cornelia (Corry) Weierbach

The Rev. Corry Weierbach brings a global perspective to her priesthood.  She was born in Germany to her US Army family, and moved around the country and Canada during her youth.

After college she joined the Peace Corps to teach mathematics in Togo for two years.  She then studied international affairs and economics and joined the Foreign Service with the US Department of State, where she served for 21 years as an economic officer in Korea, Burundi, Bangladesh, and Washington DC.

After her ordination to the priesthood in 2010, Rev. Corry felt called to interim ministry, which requires the same sense of adventure, respect for unfamiliar cultures, and flexibility as diplomacy does.

Rev. Corry came to Church of the Spirit in January, 2015, and serves part-time.  She is married to Bob Weierbach, and they have two grown daughters.
